Those who purchased an iPhone4 can now get their hands on the new free case that Steve Jobs promised Apple would provide to every consumer that purchased the mobile as a way to fix the poor reception problems that come from improper holding of the mobile.

In order to receive the new case, all you need is the actual iPhone4 and the application for the free case, which is able to check that you have the mobile and when you purchased it.

Those who purchased the iPhone4 before today’s date will need to apply for the case using the app before August 22^nd in order to receive it.  Those who purchase the iPhone4 from this point forward will have thirty days after the purchase date to download the app and request a free case.

The application for the free app will only download and install onto an iPhone4 mobile and will automatically read the devices serial number and IMEI to ensure that the mobile was legitimately purchased.  After your mobile passes the test, then you have the option to choose one of the Apple free case selections.

Those that were looking for colour will be disappointed since Apple is only offering a black case out for free, but for a small amount of money you can purchase your own.

Additionally, do not hold your breath for better reception overnight, because the shipping time for the cases is anywhere between three to five weeks.
