TalkTalk is offering six months of free broadband for any customers who sign up for the company’s Essentials package all throughout this month. Any consumers who wish to get the free broadband will have to sign up before September 2010 is over. For anyone who is interested, it would be a good idea to sign up for the service fast before it expires.
When consumers sign up for the deal, they will have to pay only £12.04, their standard line rental fee, for six out of the eighteen months of the contract if they take out the Essentials broadband and home phone package.
The company will be offering fast speeds with the service of up to 24 megabytes per second, as well as an allowance of 40 gigabytes of downloads. TalkTalk has said that this offer is very “generous”. Customers will also receive free technical and customer support, as well as a gratuitous wireless router.
There will be no fees for weekend or evening home phone calls if they are made to UK landlines as well. These can include 0870 and 0845 numbers. Once the six months are over, the price of the service will go back to £6.99 per month.
