Network provider 3 Mobile has joined up with mobile phone manufacturing company Sony Ericsson in order to make the Spotify music streaming service available free to anyone who purchases a Sony Ericsson brand phone from 3 Mobile.
The new free Spotify music service will be available for a period of eight weeks and is intended to highlight the advantages of the Sony Vivaz and Xperia X10 models. The Xperia X10 is one of the new Android-based smart phones, which is available on a 24 month contract at a rate of £35 per month.
The company will also offer 750 minutes of unlimited text link via the Xperia X10, the same is true of the Vivaz which has the advantage of being able to record HD videos.
The free service, which will be offered for a period of two months, aims to promote company’s new smartphones viz. Xperia X10 and Vivaz. In addition customers will have the advantage of being able to make use of free celebrity playlists from a selection of first-class acts including The Stereophonics and Keane.
