Everything Must Go is the latest comedy starring Will Ferrell and to celebrate this three copies in the Blu-ray format are being given away to lucky fans. The movie is a dark comedy and it follows Will Ferrell who has recently lost his job. He also is addicted to alcohol and his wife has recently decided to leave him. In a dramatic scene Ferrell’s character comes home to find that all of his belongings have been put out on the front lawn for him to collect. After this she refuses to let him in the house and does not answer his phone calls.

The movie follows Ferrell’s character as he pulls himself back together after the breakdown of his job and relationship. He starts a friendship with a lonely kid and together they help put his life back on track.

To entice us before the launch of their latest TV commercial, a teasing video has been released featuring a traffic warden and the words, is also the title of the campaign ‘The T-Mobile Parking Ticket’. This video is running all this week until Friday, when the second burst kicks in.

We are told at the end of the video to tune in to channel 5 at 9.15pm on Friday to see what happens next, which, if the information released so far is correct, is set to be hilarious. Fake traffic wardens are posting fake parking tickets on loads of cars and secretly taping the motorist’s reactions when they see these abhorred items on their windscreens.

The T-Mobile You Fix tariff is a completely flexible 12 month plan where you select the features you want every month such as minutes, texts etc. and pay a set monthly amount.

You cannot go over your allowance and if you find that you have run out you simply top up like you would on a pay as you go plan, so there are no bills dropping through the doors with any nasty surprises.

This is appropriate as the running theme of the campaign is to turn a nasty surprise into a great surprise, as you will find out on channel 5 at 9.15pm on Friday.

Coca-Cola and Apple are about to launch a promotion that will see both companies working together to promote music from the iTunes store. This will involve many free items as well as the organising of some concerts.

The new website being run by Coca-Cola features music and is completely integrated with iTunes. Coke has previously attempted to launch their own independent music store but this failed and was shut down earlier in the year. It is the company’s hope that working with iTunes will be more successful.

The main countries to be involved in the promotion are the UK and Germany, although other European nations will also be involved. The promotion will, in part, be encouraging artists who are unsigned to upload some of their music to the website where it will be feature in the store. There will also be concerts organised for some of the most popular artists. A series of live concerts will be held to celebrate the launch of the collaboration.

Since mid-August, promotional codes have been available on special packs of Coca-Cola. These will give users points that can then be exchanged for music on the website. In total it is expected that 70m codes will be released. There will be a limit that each person can only download five songs. Other competitions will also launch simultaneously with this promotion.

Today the LEGO Group announced their plans for an upcoming offering for free to play in LEGO universe, the MMOG (massively-multiplayer online game) that is based on the brick building playing experience. Starting in August the free to play will welcome players to sample LEGO Universe free for the amount of time they want before deciding if they want to pay to become members.

Also, players will not need to invest in the DVD game in order to play LEGO Universe. It will be available only through free digital download. The LEGO Group continues to commit to success in the digital space as well as to LEGO Universe, said the Vice President of the Lego Group Jesper Vilstrup.

They see LEGO Group as an important element for the division of digital play and they are adjusting their way to do business to make the game accessible to more people without having to subscribe and pay to pay.

They will still continue to receive revenue via their existing memberships and have no plans for micro transactions in the near future. The players will be able to try free to play for an unlimited time period and can pay $10 a month to be a member of the LEGO Universe and have full access to the entire site. Those that sign on for an extended period of time will also receive applicable discounts.

The free for play experience from the LEGO Universe will offer a limited number of game content that will include two adventure zones and a player property area so they can build their own LEGO models in the LEGO virtual world. Those who play have unlimited access in the full game and membership benefits like competitions and also community events.

Additionally the 15 or more adventure zones and plus 5 or more property worlds gives some much more accessibility to fully enjoy the LEGO Universe experience. After an official launch in October 2010 thousands have entered the virtual world of LEGO Universe. Stephen Rowlands, 32 from Liverpool who is known to his fellow roomies on the tombola site as ‘redhotbear’ said “From the moment I arrived at the casting day, to the second we left the hotel to come home after the filming, I don’t think I’ve had an experience that was as much fun for such a period of time”.

Tombola bingo players who want to take part should log into their account, send an up-to-date photo and tell tombola the reason why they want to be on the next set of their Emmerdale TV adverts. The closing date for applications is 10am on the 7th February.

The casting day will be held on Saturday 26th February in London. A hundred participants will be invited, and those chosen will have reasonable travel expenses reimbursed. Following the casting day, 25 players will be selected for the three-day shoot on 28-30 March.
